Querétaro, Qro., 17 de julio de 2025.- La Feria del mole y la tortilla de Santa María Magdalena se realizará el próximo 22 de julio a mediodía como se hace desde hace 33 años, en la que se esperan más de dos mil personas y alrededor de 24 cocineras que repartirán tortillas con mole de forma gratuita, anunció la secretaria de Turismo del municipio de Querétaro, Mariana Ortiz Cabrera.
Ortiz Cabrera puntualizó que estas celebraciones contribuyen a fortalecer la identidad y a consolidar a Querétaro como un destino turístico por su gastronomía, gracias a las cocineras tradicionales. Además, dijo, se contribuye a diversificar al turismo para que no se quede solamente en el centro del municipio.
La funcionaria municipal declaró que “estamos muy emocionados de esta convocatoria, 30 años que se realiza la feria del mole y la tortilla, estamos uniendo esfuerzos entre varias secretarías y la delegada para que se fortalezca y más gente conozca nuestras tradiciones, la importancia de nuestros orígenes, nuestra identidad”.
Ante la secretaria de Gestión Delegacional, Beatriz León Sotelo, se informó que se esperan unos dos mil asistentes y 24 cocineras que ofrecerán la degustación gratuita de mole a las 14:30 horas en la explanada de la parroquia y se tendrán un paseo del burro que reparte tortillas con mole, así como un baile del pollo, que consiste en mojigangas que bailan detrás del burro.
La delegada municipal de Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Sandra Diez Alvarado, señaló que esta feria se dirige a las familias del municipio de Querétaro y contará con diversos espectáculos y atracciones para la población. A su vez, la representante de la parroquia de Santa María Magdalena, Mónica Colín, subrayó que la fiesta está llena de fe y tradición y está lista para recibir a todos los visitantes.
De igual forma, el representante del Comité Organizador de las Fiestas Patronales de Santa María Magdalena, Alejandro León, puntualizó que esta es una labor cultural a favor de la parroquia y se espera casa llena en todas las actividades programadas. A nombre de quienes elaborarán el mole, Rossy Quintana invitó a asistir a las 12 del día a la degustación que se ofrecerá como desde hace 30 años.
Como parte de la festividad, entre las 17:00 y las 20:00 horas se tendrán juegos mecánicos gratuitos y a las 6 de la tarde se presentará una obra de teatro, para cerrar con presentaciones musicales.
